    Hello Sharon,

I stumbled across this site after 1am this morning when I could not sleep. I loved it so much that I refused to shut down my computer for fear that I would lose the site and its valuable information. I decided to leave it in sleep mode as I went to bed at 3am! I now realize it was a divine connection! :) I live in the U.S. and like so many others here, I am wading through the waters of unemployment trying not to drown! My childhood dream was to be a writer. I read everything from books, to business publications, but no one said “you can make a living as a writer”. Even when I won the writing scholarship contest as a high school senior out of a class of 703 graduates, I allowed lack of guidance and peer pressure to defer my dreams. Your site has been such an inspiration. I may be older now (over 40), and unemployed, but I’m going after my dream. I have nothing to lose, but everything to gain from pursuing my dream. I decided to keep writing, build a portfolio of my work, and just go for it. Since being laid off, I’ve completed 1 short story, and I’m almost finished with an inspirational book. Your posts on the difference between dreamers and writers really hit home! It’s now time for me to take action! It’s nice to also stay connected to other writers both experienced and beginners in order to stay motivated and encouraged. Thank you for providing such valuable tips and information. I’ll keep you posted of my progress. I’m definitely interested in Ghostwriting. Continued success!
